In some rare instances, importing contacts is the only method to bring members into RoboRewards. Although this situation is extremely unlikely, at times it arises. Typically, importing members-only occurs when a reward program is carrying over contacts from an existing database.
Importing contacts into our software is extremely easy. Inside our software, we have a default template with necessary headers. Although this template is not required, it can speed the upload process.
RoboRewards allows CSV upload. Simply match the CSV headers to the appropriate field.
Importing members via a CSV file is extremely easy.
How Uploading Contacts Works
When the upload button is pressed, the appropriate file is selected and uploaded. Once uploaded, if not using the default template, the headers will be mapped. Once the headers are mapped and approved by the uploader, the context begins importing.
The amount of time to upload contacts depends on the database size. Once complete, a message will display with the number of contacts that successfully import, the number of duplicate contacts, and any errors.
